Bharat Jodo Yatra: A step towards national unity

Bharat Jodo Yatra: A step towards national unity

(“There is strength and life in unity.” – Mahatma Gandhi)

India is a country of diversity. Here many castes, languages, religions, and cultures come together to form a particularly special land. Our country is a diverse and strange mix, in which our differences are part of our richness. But it is also true that our diversity has at times challenged national unity. Accepting this challenge, Bharat Jodo Yatra has been organized, the objective of which is to unite India and strengthen the country together.

Main objective of the Bharat Jodo Yatra:

The organization of Bharat Jodo Yatra launced by Indian National Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Tamilnadu chief minister M. K. Stalin. It was started from Kanyakumari on 7 September 2023. The main objective of this Yatra is to unite all the citizens of India in one focus at one time and give them an opportunity to understand the importance of national unity. The Yatra will pass through 12 states and will end in Jammu and Kashmir. The distance of this journey will be approximately 4000+ kilometers, and it will be completed over a span of 136 days.
